The sentry patrol path starts near the Tourist Office in the citadel, following the footsteps of the mediaeval watchmen.

An original and family visit free of charge. You can appreciate the resourcefulness of the defence system of our town: machicolations, arrow slits, and loopholes for canons.
This medieval sentry patrol path modified in the 18th century which is a succession of covered stairways, ramparts and small sentry boxes, offers the most remarkable views over the port and the Strait of Bonifacio.
The first part of the sentry patrol path takes you right to the roundabout by the Town Hall. There is another access by the marine cemetery.
